Is this you?
You’re 25 years old and you’re giggling in the check out line at Target where you’re buying Pyrex with your little sister the day before Thanksgiving. And the giggling hurts so you call the advice nurse and next thing you know you’re getting sent for a CT scan “stat!”. And then you find out you have a tumor but it’s a holiday weekend so you have to spend the rest of the weekend waiting for a biopsy to find out if you have cancer or not. And when the biopsy results come back you do have cancer.
And after the whole cancer thing is mostly taken care of you just want to get back to “normal” (whatever that is) only to realize a year or two later that what you thought was normal isn’t really what you want at all. And you don’t even know what you want but you know you need to find it.
Maybe it’s a quarter life crisis. Or at least you hope it’s a quarter life crisis because after that whole cancer thing you’re not so sure you’ll live to a hundred anymore.
Oh wait, that’s me.
But I bet you have your own story about how you came to realize that you don’t have the quality of life that you wish you had either.
Join me as I explore technology and techniques while I educate, inspire, and maybe even entertain you along the way in my quest for a fulfilling life of wellness, inner harmony, and personal growth.

Congrats on your new blog!! Keep me “posted.” hahaha.
Awesome! I like this site a lot, actually.
Sweet site, Carrie! Congrats!
I found this site by way of your other blog. I love how you customized the Thesis theme on both sites! I’m considering switching to the Thesis theme myself and have been looking at a lot of sample sites. I think yours is one of the nicest looking ones using this theme. Well done!
Actually, I love your site and have to admit I can sometimes use the word a bit much as well
Hi Carrie,
I see you are a cancer survivor too. How are you doing? I was diagnosed with breast cancer Sept. 2009 and recently finished chemo and surgery.
I also have a money saving blog.
Just wanted to stop by and say hi.
Hope you are doing well.

Love the blog and so glad you’re doing well. I’m a cancer survivor too, diagnosed in 1990 with breast cancer in my thirties…in fact it’s what started me cooking Indian food. Looking forward to following your adventures.
Hey Carrie,
I love the cute design on the blog! I’m excited that you RSVPed to the Silicon Valley “Social Media Day” meetup– I’m organizing it and really hope we get people to come (we’re hosting it at the startup I work at, Wildfire Interactive.)
See you there!!

Hi Carrie!
I’m stopping by your blog for Bloggiesta. Thanks for stopping by mine and commenting about your bookshelves. I think I might use your method for my TBR list–that’s a really good idea!
I see that you are a cancer survivor. One of my good friends also has lymphoma (I believe it’s Non-Hodgkins–it’s a B-cell lymphoma and she also has Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia) and if you’d like to read her blog, let me know. I’ll pass it along! She just finished a stem cell transplant late last year and has been cancer free for about 8 months I think.
I love finding new blogs, and I really like what you write about.
Good luck with the rest of Bloggiesta!
That was a great little intro. When I first saw the title I thought it had something to do with sex in the city, so I immediately had to go to your about page and really see what your content was all about. Ace on your for explaining yourself so clearly
Brightest Blessings

Hi Carrie, thanks for visiting my site! Actually, i have TWO sites, but whatever, LOL. I want to say that I think you are a very strong woman. I just watched a friend go through chemo (and hair loss) this past fall with Hodgkins Lymphona. Hang in there!!
Lovin’ the new look on the blog, and your “do” looks great, too!
