I haven’t been buying much in the way of makeup for a few years now, but after attending Look Good, Feel Better, I’m starting to get back into it. Taking a few extra minutes decorating your face in the morning really does make you feel better when you’re hair is falling out and you’re feeling less than awesome.
I needed an eyebrow pencil since I didn’t have one and I’m starting to get hairless patches in my brows. I picked up MAC’s eyebrow pencil in Spiked. Also at MAC, I picked up Viva Glam V lipstick. The lipgloss version of this color has been my absolute favorite for ages so I thought it’d be nice to have the lipstick as well.
At Sephora, I got Urban Decay’s 24/7 eyeliner in Bourbon. I’m losing eyelashes quickly and apparently if you have no eyelashes then eyeliner becomes an absolute essential so I thought it’d be fun to have a new one for that.
I also wanted to get Stila’s Kitten Smudge Pot, which Product Girl says is the best of the whole Kitten line and I love everything else in the line, but it was sold out at Sephora. Today I was ordering flea medicine for my cat from drugstore.com so I also ordered the Kitten Smudge Pot from beauty.com to get up to the free shipping threshold.

My mom did the same thing. I went with her to Sephora, to a private area in the back while the makeup artist helped put makeup on her to make her feel beautiful.
Eyeliner does a world of a difference. So does blush, and lipstick

Yay for new MU. VGV is one of my faves and the fact that the money goes towards the AIDS foundation is more of a reason to love it.
Kitten is probably my fave e/s that I own from Stila. Such a versatile color.
Have you heard of tightlining? (http://www.hookedonbeauty.com/2008/03/tight-lining-your-eyes.html) It will help bring our your eye lashes a bit. I use either Urban Decay’s Zero or MUFE black pencil liner to achieve this look.
