I’ve been a cell phone user since 2003 now. Never once have I sent or received an MMS.
For some time now there has been an uproar that Apple and AT&T don’t offer MMS on the iPhone. MMS on the iPhone in the US is finally rolling out this Friday, September 25, 2009. My question is have iPhone users really been missing out as much as they think they are?
Browsing through my Camera Roll on my iPhone, I see that the majority of the pictures I’ve taken are stupid pictures of my cat. As of Friday, not only can I email those stupid cat pictures to my friends and family but I can also send them via MMS and interrupt people with them more immediately. Are you guys excited yet?
If you don’t have unlimited messaging set up watch out how many MMS messages you send as you will be charged for them. Fortunately my younger sister sends a zillion text messages a month so we have unlimited messaging on our family plan and MMS charges are reportedly included in that.
